Christmas Prayer

Heavenly Father,

On this holy night, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude and joy, celebrating the birth of Your Son, Jesus Christ. In the humble manger of Bethlehem, You revealed Your boundless love to the world, sending us the Savior, the Light in our darkness, the Prince of Peace.

Lord, as the angels sang of Your glory, may our voices join in praise. As the shepherds knelt in wonder, may our hearts bow before You. As the wise men offered their gifts, may we give You our lives in love and devotion.

Fill our homes with the warmth of Your presence, our hearts with the peace of Christ, and our world with the hope of salvation. May this Christmas remind us of the true meaning of love—selfless, eternal, and divine.

Bless our families, our friends, and all those in need. Let the light of Christ shine in every heart, bringing comfort to the lonely, strength to the weary, and joy to the sorrowful.

We thank You for the gift of Jesus, our Redeemer, and we pray that His love may reign in our hearts today and always.

Amen.

For we saw his star in the east and go to worship 7 him. 3 When king Herod heard, he was disturbed, and all Jerusalem with him. 4 And having led together 8 all archiereis 9 and grammarians 10 of the people, he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born. 5 They said to him, In Bethlehem of Judea, for thus has it been written through the prophet: 6 And you, Bethlehem, land of Judah, are by no means least among the hegemons 11 of Judah, for out of you will go out 12 a hegumen 13 who will shepherd my people Israel. 7 Then Herod latently called the magi and inquired of them the time of the appearing star. 8 And sending them to Bethlehem, he said, Move on and search carefully for the child. Once you find him, message me back 14 so that I can come and worship him. 9 And having heard ...
